Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau and The Promotion Company/Family Events kicked the event off with a media lunch on Wednesday, January 2nd and the excitement began. Here are some of the highlights!
Autofest 2008 was the year for prestigious show cars from all over the United States. These national-winning vehicles joined the event on a “display only” basis and were very well received by everyone that attended this year.

Judging was not an easy task due to the caliber of street rods, muscle cars, customs, trucks and motorcycles competing this year.
Entertainment was high on our priority list for this year’s show. Popular with everyone was the band Crisis who rocked the house on Saturday afternoon with their Classic Rock…Preserved music. Kids 5-12 years old had the opportunity to “make a model and take it away,” and everyone decided to test their skills as a NASCAR driver on a racetrack with radio-operated cars that was provided by Ozark Entertainment. Bob Chandler, creator of the original Big Foot monster truck, was on hand to sign autographs and talk about how the truck was designed. Of course everyone snapped shots of Big Foot all weekend.
Check out the event photos to see these beautiful cars. We hope to see you next year. Detailed information regarding next year's show will be available in the near future. Again, many thanks to all, Carol.
